Robots are becoming a very essential part of human beings gradually. Using robots in industry for car manufacturing or food processing reduced the high labor costs. In this study, several types of quadruped robots have been inspected. This paper describes the design, simulation, and experience of a quadruped robot that can locomote by walking. Most interesting feature of this type of robot is that can walk through plat surfaces without any interruption. In our robot, we used legs instead of wheels because this leg mechanism performs better compared to the wheeled robots. We used servo motors to control the leg mechanism of the robot and some lithium-ion batteries to power up them. In designing part, we focused on the high performance and the low cost to construct the robot, so that researchers can get a quadruped robot easily.
