Logistics 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain: A Systematic Review
摘要
Purpose: This study aims to explore the existing literature on logistics 4.0 and digital supply chains to achieve a circular economy, green supply chain, and green logistics by using advanced information technologies like artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and digitalization, which aligns this study with sustainable development goals. The current study has explored the gap found in the literature to examine the role of logistics 4.0 and digital supply chains in advancing green and circular logistics. Methodology: A systematic literature review was conducted to explore the literature from Scopus and Web of Science, two major databases. Additionally, 38 full-text papers from both databases were selected for the final analysis. Findings: The results proved that sustainability, green logistics, green supply chain, and a circular economy can be achieved using advanced information technologies in digital supply chain and logistics 4.0. Theoretical and Practical Implications: This study will open the horizons for scholars and academicians to think differently and conduct quantitative studies. Additionally, managers implement artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and digitalization in digital supply chains to reduce wastage for green and sustainable supply chains and logistics. Originality: The in-depth systematic analysis found that few systematic literature reviews were conducted on logistics 4.0 or digital supply chain management. The study has developed a comprehensive theme and relationship among concepts to provide the foundations for developing the quantitative model for future studies, ensuring a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
