摘要
Marketing has become crucial for companies, especially in customer-related processes and communication. With the advancement of new technologies, new concepts such as electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) have emerged. This article presents a systematic review aimed at synthesizing and analyzing the most relevant studies on the impact of eWOM on consumer purchase intentions. We collected scientific articles published over the past decade that were pertinent to this topic using the Scopus platform. Out of 393 articles gathered, we utilized Rayan to screen and identify 20 articles that were most relevant to this study. This allowed for identifying key themes, particularly the characteristics of eWOM and variables that can enhance its influence. The review found that eWOM significantly affects purchase intentions and highlighted various insights for companies leveraging eWOM in marketing strategy formulation.
