Using a comprehensive literature review, it explores how companies have applied tools such as Big Data, marketing automation, and machine learning to optimize campaigns and improve the consumer experience. In addition, the ethical and regulatory challenges are discussed, particularly regarding data privacy and security. The article discusses the impact of DDM on consumer behavior, DDM strategy, and the agility provided by DDM, which improves resource allocation, allowing companies to direct their efforts toward the most effective channels and the audiences most likely to respond positively. The study concludes that DDM has a profound impact on business decisions by allowing companies to base their strategies on concrete data rather than assumptions and offers a significant competitive advantage by enabling companies to personalize their strategies, increase efficiency in the use of resources, and optimize customer segmentation. Still, success depends on the quality of the data and compliance with regulations.
