This chapter introduces some necessary preliminaries used in the monograph. Firstly, several different kinds of matrix multiplications are discussed, including Kronecker product, Hadamard product, Khatri-Rao product and semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices. After that, the matrix expression of Boolean logic, multi-valued logic and mix-valued logic are presented. Finally, the fundamental operations of Boolean matrix are discussed.

This chapter introduces some necessary preliminaries used in the monograph.
