Strength Analysis of the Lifting Gripper of Coalbed Methane Drilling Machine Based on ABAQUS

The lifting gripper of coalbed methane drilling rig is a specialized device used for rapid lifting and lowering of coalbed methane drilling rig. This article analyzes the structural characteristics of the drilling gripper and selects the main load-bearing component joint body for strength analysis. The 3D model of the joint body drawn by Solid Edge was imported into ABAQUS, and the joint body was meshed, element types were selected, and boundary conditions were determined to complete the establishment of the finite element model of the joint body. The joint body was analyzed under the extreme working condition of strong lifting and pulling. Through analysis, it is shown that the strength of the joint body fully meets the design requirements under this working condition. Finally, the strength analysis results of the coal seam gas drilling machine's lifting gripper were verified through physical prototype performance tests.
