Preparation and Performance Study of Hot Melt High Brightness Traffic Marking Coating

From the perspective of improving the comprehensive performance of this type of coating, this paper discusses in depth the specific effects of different components on the performance of hot-melt high-gloss traffic marking coatings. Through experimental research and data analysis, the optimal dosage of the coating was determined as 20% of hydrogenated modified C5 petroleum resin, 6% of acute titanium titanium dioxide, 20% of quartz sand, 16% of calcium bicarbonate powder, 35% of glass beads and 3% of additives. The hot-melt high gloss traffic marking coating synthesized under this dosage not only meets the specification requirements in all properties and has excellent comprehensive road performance, but also has obvious advantages over the commercially available coatings in terms of chromaticity performance, abrasion resistance, compressive strength, and low-temperature cracking resistance, and can better adapt to the external unfavorable conditions, such as light, heat, pressure, and so on. In summary, this study not only realizes a major breakthrough of hot-melt traffic marking coatings in technology, but also shows broad application prospects and social value in enhancing road safety, promoting energy saving and emission reduction, and promoting the development of intelligent transportation.
