This article investigates the lateral random response problem of axially moving structures under various random excitations. Under concentrated loads and spatially uniformly distributed random external excitations, analytical expressions for the power spectral density of axially moving strings and viscoelastic beams are derived. The correctness and simplicity of the Pseudo-excitation method for solving the power spectral density of random displacement response of axially moving structures are demonstrated.

摘要
