In order to achieve efficient development of shale oil resources in the extension of the 7th section of the Triassic in the Chang-6 water injection superimposed area of the Ordos Basin, and to promote the large-scale construction of horizontal well development platforms for shale oil large well groups in northern Shaanxi, the geological characteristics and injection production relationships of the Chang-6 water injection superimposed area were analyzed. Combined with the exploration and practice of previous horizontal well development, a technical system for efficient development of the Chang-6 water injection superimposed area in northern Shaanxi was formed. The research results indicate that the reservoir in the study area is characterized by strong heterogeneity and the development of natural fractures. The difficulties faced during the development process are mainly reflected in geological evaluation and geological guidance, significant differences in the implementation effect of the same platform with high water content, severe interlayer interference between wells, and zero pressure at the wellhead after fracturing. The following work has effectively solved the current development technical problems: ① Comprehensive geological and drilling completion data, detailed description of reservoir characteristics, establishment of three-dimensional geological modeling to clarify the drilling characteristics of horizontal wells; ② Carry out interlayer fracturing tests to improve the single well transformation effect of low drilling rate horizontal wells; ③ Based on geological achievements, conduct inter well connectivity tests such as microseismic and wellhead pressure detection, analyze fracturing effects, and continuously optimize fracturing plans; ④ Comprehensive residual oil logging and tracer analysis of high water cut sources. The technical countermeasures formed during the development of horizontal wells in the shale oil well group of the Chang-6 water injection superimposed area provide technical support for the subsequent development of shale oil horizontal wells in the water injection superimposed area.
