Development and Application of Hardware Circuit for Through-Drilling-Tool Numerical Control Release Tool Circuit Sub
摘要
In the later stage of oilfield development, high angle wells, horizontal wells, large displacement wells, and complex well conditions have become quite common in oilfield development. Such complex and harsh wellbore environments make it difficult for conventional cable logging techniques to obtain logging data. In order to meet logging needs, a multi-mode FITS (Fast Imaging Through-drilling-tool Logging System) has been developed, which includes conventional cable logging, drilling tool storage logging, and drill pipe protection sleeve storage logging. The TNCR (Through-drilling-tool Numerical Control Release Tool) is a key tool for storing logging construction technology in the FITS logging system's drill pipe protection sleeve. The logging tool is lowered into a horizontal or highly deviated well to measure the target layer, and then pumped out of the protection sleeve through the numerical control release method. The drilling tool is lifted up to complete the logging construction and obtain a qualified logging curve. The article first briefly introduces the FITS drilling tool, drill pipe protection sleeve storage logging construction technology, and machine tool combination logging method; Secondly, the important technical indicators, composition, and circuit working principle of the TNCR circuit sub were emphasized; Furthermore, detailed explanations were provided for each component module of the circuit system; Finally, the field application of the TNCR circuit sub was elaborated. A large number of field applications have shown that the TNCR circuit sub has stable sub performance, reliable logging data obtained, and can meet the logging needs of complex horizontal wells, high angle wells, and other wells, with significant economic benefits.
