Research on Using Grinding Stone Powder from Quartz Based Artificial Stone Production as Raw Material for Clinker Cement Clamp Production
摘要
Due to the high demand and extensive application across various fields, the availability of high-silica raw materials for clinker cement production is rapidly diminishing. This scarcity directly influences the cost, quality, and properties of clinker cement, while also exacerbating issues related to environmental pollution and climate change. Simultaneously, the burgeoning artificial stone production industry generates substantial quantities of stone powder waste, for which there is currently no effective disposal method, leading to adverse effects on human health and environmental contamination. Investigating the utilization of grinding stone powder as a substitute for high-silica raw materials in clinker cement production is therefore of considerable scientific and practical significance. This approach not only mitigates the shortage of high-silica materials but also provides a solution for the disposal of this waste. This paper presents the findings of research on the incorporation of grinding stone powder as a raw material in clinker cement production. The results demonstrate that replacing silica with grinding stone powder, in proportions ranging from 0% to 100%, enhances standard water content and setting time. However, it is observed that the compressive strength decreases by approximately 0% to 9%. Notwithstanding this reduction, the clinker cement samples containing up to 100% grinding stone powder as a silica replacement still comply with the technical requirements specified in TCVN 7024 and are classified as CPC40.
