Sports 3D Video Tracking Technology Based on Improved ID3 Intelligent Algorithm

In recent years, with the booming development of the sports industry, the demand for analysis and tracking of sports images has also been increasing day by day. However, existing video object tracking methods have low accuracy and poor real-time performance in complex scenes, and there is an urgent need for more efficient and high-precision object tracking methods. This article aims to design an efficient and accurate 3D motion video tracking method by improving the ID3 (Iterative Dichotomiser 3) intelligent algorithm. This article is based on sports event video data, using an improved ID3 algorithm to track players, and conducting experimental research on this basis. Athlete number A001 had a tracking accuracy of 92.3% and a tracking error rate of 7.7%; the tracking accuracy of athlete number A002 was 88.5%, with a tracking error rate of 11.5%. Experimental results have shown that the algorithm used can effectively improve the accuracy and real-time performance of sports video tracking, providing a practical and feasible approach for the development of the sports industry.
