Although the development of World Wide Web (Web) applications is becoming more mature, it often takes weeks or even months to complete, and puts a huge burden on small and medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, the urgent problem to be solved is how to quickly develop a convenient and easy-to-use Web application in small and medium-sized enterprises. This article provided a detailed study of the Web application development model based on Google Cloud Computing technology, focusing on the research and design of system modules, development environment, data storage, and cloud computing platform, and comprehensively comparing them with traditional Web application development models. The research results indicated that Web applications based on Google Cloud Computing technology could improve development efficiency, save costs, and improve performance and scalability. Compared to traditional Web application development, its scalability could be improved by up to 23%.
