Artificial noise (AN) technology can achieve secure communication without relying on the channel information of eavesdroppers. We build a MIMO AN physical-layer security (PLS) hardware verification platform based on the concept of software radio, design the implementation scheme of the AN module, and develop DSP and FPGA related functions. We test the secure transmission performance. The system test results verifies the effectiveness of AN transmission, indicating that introducing PLS transmission function can greatly reduce the eavesdropping range of eavesdroppers and significantly improve the security of wireless communications.

摘要

Artificial noise (AN) technology can achieve secure communication without relying on the channel information of eavesdroppers. We build a MIMO AN physical-layer security (PLS) hardware verification platform based on the concept of software radio, design the implementation scheme of the AN module, and develop DSP and FPGA related functions. We test the secure transmission performance. The system test results verifies the effectiveness of AN transmission, indicating that introducing PLS transmission function can greatly reduce the eavesdropping range of eavesdroppers and significantly improve the security of wireless communications.
