DSS, established in 2011, is the first cluster-level federation (CLFCluster Level Federation (CLF)) of Madhya Pradesh. The DSS has achieved extensive coverage of its target populationTarget grouppopulation, with an overall saturationSaturation of 97.52%. The federation represents a diverse mix of SC, STScheduled Tribes (ST), OBC, and other groups while supporting 39 SHGs of particularly vulnerable tribal groupsParticularly vulnerable tribal group (PVTG) (PVTGs). The DSS has emerged as a solid collectiveCollectives with robust leadership. CIFCommunity Investment Fund (CIF) and bank linkagesBank linkage enable women to enhance their financial capabilities and livelihoods. The federation has built diligent methods for its CIFCommunity Investment Fund (CIF)-based lending. Livelihoods are being augmented through active convergence and the formation of producer groupsProducer group (PGs). Following the training, the organic farmingOrganic farming practices have shown improvement in the quality of the farm produce, besides encouraging commercial production of bio-compost and bio-fertilizersBio-fertilizer by a few individual members.
