Laparoscopic Distal Pancreatectomy
摘要
Minimally invasive distal pancreatectomy (MIDP) is increasingly being performed using laparoscopic approach. Initially indicated for benign and low-grade tumors located in pancreatic body and tail, its application is gradually being extended to malignant tumors as well. MIDP can be performed using splenic resection or splenic preservation techniques akin to open distal pancreatectomy. This chapter outlines the indications, various techniques, and complications of MIDP with reference to distal pancreatectomy (DP).
