Impact of Industrialization on Urban Temperature: A Comparative Study of Bengaluru, Vadodara, and Visakhapatnam

This research examines the influence of industrialization on the abnormal increase in urban temperatures in Bengaluru, Vadodara, and Visakhapatnam. The impact of urban expansion on the climate in these cities is analyzed through a comparative approach. The study examines weather data from 1980 to 2024 and finds a clear upward trend in temperatures driven by industrialization and population growth. The results show a complex connection between industrial development, population density, and rising temperatures. The research shows how various urban development factors contribute to temperature fluctuations by using statistical techniques like ANOVA, time series analysis, and various visual representations like box and whisker plots. The study highlights the urgent need for sustainable urban planning and environmentally friendly industrial practices to address these negative impacts. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers, urban planners, and the scientific community and addresses the pressing climate challenges of rapid urbanization.
