Water contamination is one of the greatest problems faced throughout the world. The severity of the issue rises due to the time, expertise, testing, and groundwork required in order to find out polluted water reservoirs for cleaning them. The government and associated organizations find it difficult to pinpoint the location of dirty water reservoirs. Also, the officials need to visit the site to identify the quality of water there, which leads to a great amount of delay in proper cleanliness of such places. In this paper, the authors have tried to come up with a solution that can efficiently contribute to this issue by providing a platform where the data of such locations can be uploaded and searched. The solution has been designed as a Django-based web application that allows for appropriate testing of data being uploaded associated with the contaminated water body using a custom-trained YOLOv8 model in the backend. The research work is a great tool in tackling the issue of water contamination all over the globe.
