摘要
The provision of sufficient information and virtual experiences regarding tourists’ destination is a top priority for prospective tourists in the postpandemic era. Consequently, the development of virtual attraction of tourists, particularly showcasing significant sites, has become a crucial aspect of digital marketing. The exploration of archaeological sites is a specialized form of tourism that demands careful preparation in terms of information and resources (money, time, and energy). To facilitate the decision-making process in selecting specific attractions, the use of Archaeography 3D photography proves invaluable, offering detailed insights. Therefore, this research aimed to investigate the key elements of Pawon and Kidang Caves, as well as emphasize their potential to provide virtual experiences for tourists through Archaeography 3D photography. The use of Archaeography 3D photography was anticipated to serve as a prominent content concept of virtual tourism based on sites and artifacts in Indonesia. In addition, Archaeography virtual tourism could introduce potential tourism sites in Indonesia to the global community.
