Bābā Tāher, a mystical poet and key cultural figure, has profoundly influenced the literary traditions of Hamadān and the western regions of Iran. While direct evidence of Bābā Tāher’s association with the Yārsān community remains inconclusive, the available data invite deeper investigation. Building upon the research of scholars such as Zarrinkub (Jostoju dar Tasavvof-e Iran) and Azkāyi (Bābā TāherNāmeh: Hefdah Goftār vaGozine-ye Ashʿār). This study explores the integration of the Fahlavi poetry of Bābā Tāher into the Gorāni literary canon. Through a comparative analysis, the research identifies thematic and symbolic resonances between the work of Bābā Tāher and the Gorāni tradition, focusing on motifs like the Eternal Falcon, the Imperial Eagle, and natural elements. These motifs suggest potential philosophical connections with Yārsān spiritual concepts. Additionally, the study investigates the cultural and linguistic significance of terms such as Orāma and Orāmanān, commonly found in Fahlavi quatrains, and their relation to the cultural identity and musical tradition of the Orāmān region, renowned for its unique musical traditions and dialects like Orāmi.
