This study explores how to use virtual reality (VR) technology to improve the interactivity and effect of oral English teaching. First, this study uses advanced virtual reality technology to create an immersive English learning environment. In this environment, students can practice speaking by interacting with virtual characters as if they were in a real English speaking environment. To support this highly interactive virtual environment, this study employs a powerful GPU architecture to ensure smooth and high-quality image rendering. It can greatly enhance the learning experience and engagement of students. In addition, an acceptance model was introduced to assess students’ acceptance and feedback when using virtual reality technology for English learning. By analyzing students’ usage behaviors and learning outcomes, the research team was able to adjust and optimize instructional content and interaction design to meet students’ individual learning needs. Research shows that oral English teaching using virtual reality technology can significantly improve students’ oral English ability and self-confidence. Not only will students be able to practice speaking in a safe and encouraging environment, but they will also receive immediate feedback and correction through virtual interaction. The application of virtual reality technology in oral English teaching has great potential. It not only provides a new, highly interactive way of learning, but also brings new perspectives and possibilities to language learning.
