The patient was a 69-year-old male. His pain in the right shoulder joint with limited mobility for over 2 years has been relieved after massage, physical therapy, and closed treatment according to shoulder periarthritis. Half a year ago, after moving a heavy object (20 kg), the pain in the right shoulder joint worsened, and lifting and rotating activities were restricted, affecting work, life, and sleep. A shoulder joint X-ray examination was performed at a local hospital, which showed osteophyte hyperplasia and osteoporosis in the humeral tuberosity of the right shoulder joint, with a hooked shoulder peak (Fig. 4.1). MRI shows right rotator cuff tear with synovitis (Fig. 4.2).
