Diagnostic and Therapeutic Misconceptions in Syphilitic Arthritis of the Shoulder Joint
摘要
A 61-year-old female patient presented with persistent pain and limited mobility in the right shoulder, enduring for over 10 months. Initially, the patient experienced pain and restricted movement in her shoulder after carrying heavy loads a year prior, with the symptoms progressively worsening, significantly impairing daily activities and sleep. An X-ray at a local hospital identified periarthritis of the shoulder, leading to nine sessions of intra-articular steroid injections.
