摘要
The white paper China’s Space Program is published to offer a brief introduction to China’s achievements in this field and its main tasks in the future, in order to help the international community better understand China’s space industry. It is not only an official document of the government, but also an important way to constructing China’s image. This paper conducts a corpus-based study of translation and China’s image by analyzing the translation of original text and keywords of English text. Findings show that the white paper presents a multi-dimensional image of China, including technological leader, international cooperation partner, innovation driver, global contributor, advocate for sustainable development, and space exploration pioneer.
