One of the major advantages of QGIS is automation, which is becoming important in the software industry. Automation involves the use of robotic processes with fewer human inputs, which is more productive and less time-consuming. Many algorithms in QGIS support automation processes by means of batch processing and graphic modelling (Model Designer). In this chapter, we discuss batch processing, including input file selection, filling parameters, and automatic generation of output file names. We use a clipping algorithm for various input data for batch processing. We then discuss Model Designer, including the selection of various input file types, the selection of algorithms, and the setting of parameters for algorithms using a graphical approach. We use a land suitability model as an example.

摘要
