Fabrication Techniques for Selective Nanofillers

In this chapter, various fabrication techniques used for the preparation and manufacturing of inorganic nano-fillers are discussed. Nanofillers are classified as organic, inorganic, clay, and nanocomposite nanofillers. The selection of the fabrication method used for specific nanofillers is debated. The approach to the fabrication parameters require tuning and modification of the various properties of nanofiller use for diverse applications. Familiarization with chemical, mechanical, gel, solution cast, coating, biosynthesis, and cost-effective approaches to the preparation of nanofillers is described. The fundamental aspects of the novel fabrication techniques along with their preferred steps for the development of various nanofillers are also introduced. The remarkable importance of the methodology chosen for the enhancement of the various properties of the materials and their correlation with synthesized parameters are presented in detail.
