In this chapter, some public datasets related to airport ground video surveillance are introduced. They are AGVS-S, AGVS-SS, AGVS-R, AGVS-T, AGVS-AR, FGVC-Aircraft, and ALERT. The first five datasets belong to the AGVS series that are proposed by our team, and before this there were no dedicated datasets for airport ground video surveillance. The AGVS series encompasses the three core research areas of computer vision—segmentation, recognition, and tracking—thus facilitating research on various airport ground computer vision topics. AGVS-S focuses on change detection, segmenting video pixels into moving foreground and background. AGVS-SS provides semantic segmentation by classifying each pixel into predefined classes. AGVS-R is dedicated to image recognition of moving targets on the ground. AGVS-T is a tracking dataset that highlights unique aircraft motion patterns and related challenges. AGVS-AR involves the ongoing production of an aircraft action recognition dataset. Although FGVC-Aircraft and ALERT do not specifically address airport ground issues, they are connected to aircraft and airport research.
