In the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and the Israel-Palestine conflict, it is evident that UAVs (unmanned ariel vehicles) are playing an increasingly important role in modern warfare. UAV swarms can maximize the advantages of UAVs because of its large scale, low cost, intelligence and coordination. Therefore, UAV swarms will undoubtedly play an irreplaceable role in future wars. Nowadays, major military powers around the world have launched various UAV swarm projects. Correspondingly, anti-UAV swarm methods are also rapidly developing. The current article first introduces the main characteristics of UAV swarms in battlefield applications and summarizes the current development status of UAV swarms in countries containing the United States and Russia. Secondly, the current development status of anti-UAV swarm is introduced, including difficulties and methods of anti-UAV swarm. The methods include hard-kill, soft-kill, and UAV swarm versus UAV swarm. Finally, four points of inspiration and reflection are proposed, including large-scale UAV swarms, operational integrated verification, comprehensive anti-UAV swarm system, and intelligent offensive-defensive confrontation.

摘要
