Research on an Adaptive Ice Tolerance Control Method for Aircraft
摘要
In order to effectively address the impact of icing on flight control performance, this paper proposes an ice tolerance adaptive flight control method. By combining projection operator technology, an adaptive law for model reference adaptive control is designed to address the deficiency of losing control robustness due to changes of aircraft aerodynamic derivatives under icing conditions, and the stability of the proposed projection operator adaptive control is demonstrated. On this basis, an aircraft angular rate loop control law is designed based on the projection operator model reference adaptive control method. The designed control law is simulated and verified under the circumstances of icing environment, according to the aerodynamic parameter disturbances. The simulation results show that the designed projection operator adaptive control law can overcome the influence of icing on the aircraft aerodynamic and control characteristics, ensuring that the tracking error quickly converges to zero.
