A distributed model predictive control algorithm is proposed for the relative motion control of distributed multi-spacecraft systems around the asteroid equilibrium point. Using the special properties of the asteroid equilibrium point and the information transfer topology between multi-spacecraft systems, a distributed model predictive cooperative control algorithm is designed by distributed algorithm. The effectiveness of the results is verified by numerical simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed distributed cooperative control algorithm can be effectively applied to the relative motion control problem of multi-spacecraft system under two different topologies.
