VibECG: Non-contact Electrocardiogram Monitoring Based on mmWave Sensing
摘要
In this study, we propose VibECG, an innovative non-contact method for capturing electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings using mmWave radar technology. VibECG addresses the discomfort and inconvenience of traditional adhesive electrodes by contactlessly capturing minute chest vibrations and transforming them into high-fidelity ECG waveforms using advanced signal processing and conditional Generative Adversarial Nets (cGAN). Practical results show that VibECG-generated ECGs have a high correlation (Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.85) with ground truth, surpassing existing methods. This reliable system extends mmWave sensing applications and explores potential for long-term unobtrusive ECG monitoring.
