In this work, a miniaturized triple-band antenna for Internet of Things applications is presented. In order to achieve miniaturization, a half-ring resonator is used. The antenna utilized FR4 as substrate and it covers 5G applications at 3.5 GHz. The designed planar antenna is fed by microstrip feeding method. The simulated analysis showed that the proposed antenna covered from 2.7 GHz to 4.1 GHz. It exhibited good radiation coverage, and the simulated analysis illustrates its capability to be a candidate for 5G wireless applications.

摘要

In this work, a miniaturized triple-band antenna for Internet of Things applications is presented. In order to achieve miniaturization, a half-ring resonator is used. The antenna utilized FR4 as substrate and it covers 5G applications at 3.5 GHz. The designed planar antenna is fed by microstrip feeding method. The simulated analysis showed that the proposed antenna covered from 2.7 GHz to 4.1 GHz. It exhibited good radiation coverage, and the simulated analysis illustrates its capability to be a candidate for 5G wireless applications.
