A 30-year-old male presented with a small, firm, subcutaneous posterior arm mass that had been gradually increasing in size over 5 years. MRI showed a non-specific enhancing nodule located on the muscle fascia (Fig. 1). An excision biopsy was performed that showed a synovial sarcoma, with margins involved. CT thorax showed no distant metatstasis. Repeat resection of the surgical bed was performed, showing no residual tumour. The patient is well, with no evidence of disease after 6 years.
