Metal-Organic Frameworks for Detection of Pesticides in Forensic Samples
摘要
In forensic science, the detection and analysis of pesticides in various samples are of paramount importance for investigating cases related to poisoning, environmental contamination, and agricultural crimes. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as promising materials in various fields due to their tunable structures, high surface areas, and customizable functionalities. This chapter provides an overview of the utilization of MOFs as sensing platforms for the detection of pesticides in forensic samples. It covers the design principles, fabrication methods, and sensing mechanisms of MOF-based sensors. Additionally, the chapter discusses the application of MOF-based sensors in the detection of specific pesticides, highlighting their sensitivity, selectivity, and potential for on-site analysis. Furthermore, challenges and future perspectives in the development of MOF-based sensors for forensic applications are addressed, aiming to inspire further research and innovation in this rapidly evolving field.
