Impounding Analysis of Meninting Reservoir on Lombok Island
摘要
Meninting Dam is one of the potential water resources built to supply irrigation and domestic water needs in West Lombok Regency. Impounding activities will be carried out after the construction of the dam components has been completed and will be carried out in August 2024. Analysis of water availability at the Meninting Dam by converting rainfall into discharge using the F.J. Mock method. In the second period in December, the largest inflow value was obtained, namely 1.461 m3/s. Meanwhile, the lowest inflow discharge was in July at 0.187 m3/s. The inflow discharge is then analyzed using the water level concept by taking into account evaporation, flushing discharge and infiltration to determine changes in storage volume at the critical elevation of the dam. The duration required for impounding with the dry year inflow discharge scenario is 201 days, 187 days for the normal year inflow discharge scenario, and 167 days for the wet year inflow discharge scenario. The duration of impounding at the Meninting Reservoir takes into account hydromechanical and other structural checking activities for three days.
