Behavior of Fastener Due to Tensile Loads on Cold Rolled Steel with LISA V.8 FEA

The performance of bolts under tensile loads is a critical factor in the structural integrity of various engineering projects, especially those involving cold rolled steel materials. This research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the behavior of the bolts, when subjected to various loading conditions, thereby contributing to the advancement of structural engineering practices. The application of LISA V.8 for the purpose of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulate and study the structural interactions under various loading conditions. The study successfully replicated the structural model from previous research, providing valuable insights researching how cold-formed steel behaves in various conditions. The analysis results from LISA and ABAQUS revealed a slight difference in deformation values in the Y direction. Specifically, the deformation value from LISA was 5.91 mm, while ABAQUS showed 5.95 mm, resulting in a difference ratio of 0.993. In 3D Solid modeling, the displacement of 5.888 mm is smaller than the previous research results of 5.95 mm and in the simplified model of 5.91, there is a difference ratio of 0.9895.
