Nowadays, tunneling projects are facing more complex and harsh working environment, the traditional cable lifting and positioning device has poor adaptability and low working efficiency. Therefore, this article designs a cable automatic lifting and positioning device for bidirectional cable transportation in narrow tunnels, which mainly consists of a base driven vehicle, lifting system, boom, cable guide belt, and cable climbing belt. The cable lifting device designed in this paper not only has the function of the traditional cable lifting device, but also through the hydraulic lifting system and the spreading arm will be transported to the left and right side of the cable to any position and height. The design of this paper cable automatic lifting in place device of the minimum lifting height of 1.3 m, the big lifting height of 2.4 m, two swing arm linkage extension, the transition swing arm maximum swing up to 1.098 m. The cable automatic lifting in place device design improves the operation simplicity of the tunnel cable laying operations, safety, efficiency and intelligence, reducing the impact on the quality of the cable and the cable automatic lifting up on the shelves of the maintenance costs. The design of the automatic lifting and positioning device for cables has improved the operational simplicity, safety, work efficiency, and intelligence level of tunnel cable laying operations, reducing the impact on cable quality and the maintenance cost of the automatic lifting and positioning device for cables.
