Research on VSG Transient Control Strategy Based on Virtual Inertia and Coordinated Adaptive Damping
摘要
The Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) fundamentally possesses external characteristics similar to those of traditional Synchronous Generators (SG). This paper analyzes the transient processes of VSG and proposes control strategies under different disturbances based on grid voltage and the drop in electromagnetic power during faults, integrating energy storage requirements. While ensuring control stability, these strategies reduce the demand for energy storage, thereby saving costs, and allowing remaining energy to provide inertia to the system. Based on the equal area criterion, virtual rotor speed threshold, and power angle characteristics, the stability of transient control is demonstrated. Simulation experiments validate the correctness of the proposed control strategies and the transient stability of system operation.
