This paper uses scholarly literature and online sources to review information security for sustainable TikTok communities. The content analysis for this systematic review was done with the assistance of Google Scholar, Web of Science (WOS), and Scopus. According to the findings, TikTok aims to establish a worldwide community where individuals can collaborate, share, learn, and interact to foster creativity and pleasure. The most important goal is to encourage the growth of the community. The empirical guidelines for the community provide norms for privacy and information security, as well as a code of conduct to welcome and protect everyone. Sincerity, diversity, safety, and inclusiveness are all characteristics that TikTok upholds. Encourage viewers to explore their inspirations and creators to celebrate their uniqueness. This study concludes that the environment enhances TikTok user community openness. TikTok values the community’s internationality and considers cultural conventions in commercial locations. TikTok promotes accurate content to encourage sincere conversations. The privacy and information security principles apply to all users and material. Use human and technical moderation to enforce them proactively, ideally before users submit potentially offensive content to the site. TikTok encourages community members to report content or accounts that violate privacy guidelines to ensure information security in the Community Guidelines utilizing TikTok tools.
