Breast cancer is a widespread and aggressive type of female malignancy, which annually leads to many deaths. That is why its early discovery plays a significant role for better results and the two major methods of its identification at an early stage are called early diagnosis and screening. In areas where resources are limited and healthcare systems are weaker, it is important to emphasize early recognition, timely referral, and prompt treatment. Hence the objective is to increase detection rates. This paper discusses the application of a Convolutional Neural Network, which is a deep learning system capable of predicting whether cancer tumor represents an advancing malignant disease or benign condition based on data features as tool in combating this disease.
