The Impact of Misinformation on Diabetes Management Using Mathematical Models
摘要
With the proliferation of social media platforms, the dissemination of misinformation occurs with disconcerting rapidity, significantly impacting diabetes management–a matter of escalating concern among researchers. In this study, one scrutinizes this impact through the application of both deterministic and stochastic models. These models consider the propagation of misinformation, and the efficacy of educational interventions in disease management, and incorporate the stochastic nature of phenomena associated with the progression of complications. The comprehensive methodological framework employed, integrating both quantitative and qualitative analyses, ensures the robustness and validity of the derived results. Our findings indicate that misinformation can precipitate suboptimal disease management, exacerbate complications, and diminish the quality of life for patients.
