In this study, we investigate the impact of various lifestyle factors, such as marital status, employment status, and education level, on the risk of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) in individuals over the age of 50. Using a large sample size and machine learning techniques, we further analyze these parameters. The results indicate significant associations between marital status, employment status, and education level, and the prevalence of T2D in this population. Notably, being single or never married is associated with an increased risk of T2D. In terms of occupational status, different categories have varying influences on the risk of T2D. The study highlights a statistically significant correlation between lower levels of education and an increased likelihood of developing T2D. These findings offer an in-depth view of the relationship between lifestyle factors and the risk of T2D in adults over 50, providing a basis for future research and interventions.
