Positioned as the 10th leading nation of 50 globally emerging logistics markets, the logistics industry of Vietnam is garnering substantial interest from the investment community. As the logistics business becomes more aware of environmental, social, and governance issues, more investors are seeking sustainable investment opportunities that are in line with their financial goals. The objective of this study is to identify important financial indicators that need to be considered when investing and provide a ranking of 30 Vietnam logistics companies, evaluated based on their financial statements. The authors employ Data Envelopment Analysis-Malmquist (DEA-Malmquist) to rank firms according to financial parameters. The results identify 15 main financial indicators and point out that Decision-Making Units (DMU) 29, DM10, and DMU24 are the top 3 Vietnam logistics companies that exhibit superior financial performance. This study provides insights for corporations and investors, suggesting using strategy, and judicious investment targets to improve financial performance, as well as providing a comprehensive view of logistics companies, and the logistics industry market.
