Temperature Monitoring System of Transformer Joint Based on RFID

A passive wireless RFID monitoring system for transformer joint temperature monitoring has been designed to provide an early warning about the temperature of external high and low voltage joints of power transformers. Firstly, the design principle of the temperature measurement label is presented by using the ROCKY100 chip. Secondly, the schematic diagram of the passive wireless RFID temperature measurement circuit is provided. Finally, the system software is designed, which mainly includes three components: transformer joint temperature monitoring device, the monitoring interface of information management, and the web-server interface. The system can collect the temperature of power transformer joints in real time and provide temperature rise warning information, thereby achieving the purpose of protecting electrical facilities.
