Consensus-Based Control for Power Sharing and Voltage/Frequency Recovery in Microgrids

Virtual impedance control has been introduced into microgrid systems for achieving correct power sharing under line impedance mismatch. However, harmonic signals are inevitably present in microgrid systems, and accurate sharing of harmonic power is very important in order to obtain better power sharing. To address this issue, a power sharing control method based on consensus algorithm is proposed in this paper to realize the sharing control of fundamental power and harmonic power respectively. In addition, considering the problem of voltage and frequency control errors brought about by the virtual impedance. The secondary voltage and frequency recovery controllers is designed to realize precise control of voltage and frequency. The proposed method does not need to know the information of line impedance, and the stability of the proposed control method is proved by the method of Lyapunov function. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified in Matlab/Simulink.
