This chapter outlines the evidence-based literature on various aspects related to social work practices in different countries across the globe. This chapter discusses issues such as the importance of cultural intelligence for social workers to practice in diverse cultural settings, social workers’ commitment to social justice in light of private practices, social work practices and their challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, ethical practices in political social work, domestic violence and social work practices, the use of technology for promoting mental health and the use of research in social work practices.
