The Digital Turn has firmly entrenched itself in human knowledge systems by this juncture while CALL and TELL—Computer Assisted Language Learning and Technology Enhanced Language Learning have developed into a multi-colored paradigm that supports language teaching and learning in the classroom. The constantly-interrogated twinning of technology and langauge education seems to be settling down into a pattern of comfortable collaboration in many areas such as action research and assessment. Digital enegagemnt helps resolves many challenges of the classroom while also creating some conundrums such as plagiarism. The consolidation of the previous stage is now being re-worked in synchronization with developments in other fields.
