The accessibility of the environment can help to save travelers time, energy and render them a better leisure experience. A multitude of scholars have proved that accessible outdoor environment potentially encouraged elder people’s mobility, especially for those with functional limitations. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of accessible environment on tourists’ travel satisfaction and revisit intention. The China Greater Bay Area has been chosen for the study. A total of 415 valid questionnaires distributed online are used for data analysis. Results show that there is a significant relationship between security of accessible environment and tourists’ perceived level of helplessness related to travel. In addition, the results of the study also confirm that tourists’ perceived level of helplessness in the area have significant impact on their travel satisfaction and revisit intention. Discussions, limitations and suggestions for future research are also presented.
