Mobile Application for Tracking and Assisting the Visually Impaired Students’ University of Phayao
摘要
The daily life of the visually impaired is extraordinarily complicated and challenging. This research, therefore, developed a prototype of the mobile application for tracking and assisting the visually impaired students’ University of Phayao. This research has three objectives: (1) to study technology for the visually impaired using artificial intelligence technology, (2) to develop a mobile application for tracking and assisting the visually impaired students at the University of Phayao, (3) to study satisfaction with the mobile application for tracking and assisting visually impaired students at the University of Phayao. The sample group used to study the satisfaction and efficiency of the mobile application was 30 computer science students at the School of Information and Communication Technology, University of Phayao. The satisfaction study results showed that the sample group accepted a mobile application at a high level. It had an overall average satisfaction value of 4.21 and a mean standard deviation of 0.83. Therefore, this research has important implications for its application in providing practical assistance and monitoring for the visually impaired.
