It integrates machine learning techniques like clustering and Ant Colony Optimization in order to come up with personalized travel plans. Getaway Guide is powered by a huge database of POIs and other real-time data sources, such as weather forecasts, for route and activity optimization, ensuring efficient, and personalized travel. The paper also includes an approach to finding the ideal number of days required to travel based on the spatial distance between cities. The ranking of POIs is done through Gaussian Mixture Models in order to make them more relevant. ACO will help reduce travel distance and time with the help of route generation by HERE APIs.
